This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub states that visitors’ IP addresses are logged and stored for security purposes, including when visitors are not signed in to GitHub. Technical usage data may also include the requested page, access time, browser and device information, and referrer.

The website is provided on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in making this portfolio available securely). I do not operate my own visitor-profiling system. GitHub’s processing, retention and privacy rights are described in its privacy statement linked in Section 7.

4. Cookies

I do not install cookies or scripts for visitor tracking, advertising or Google Analytics on this website. I use Google Search Console to review search visibility and search-performance reports. The ownership-verification tag does not load an analytics script or set a visitor cookie.

5. Fonts

This website uses fonts that are hosted locally on the same server as the rest of the site. No data is transmitted to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) when fonts are loaded.

6. External Links and Contact

This website contains links to services such as GitHub and LinkedIn. Following a link opens the external service, whose privacy policy then applies. The Writing section and its external Medium feed are currently disabled; visiting this website does not trigger a request to rss2json.com.

If you contact me by email, I process your email address, the information you provide and the correspondence to respond to your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). I retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry or meet applicable legal obligations.

This website is hosted using GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. GitHub processes technical data when serving the website, including the IP addresses described in Section 3.

GitHub may process data in the United States and other countries.
